What does it mean to keep the same energy? Does doing so take away the grace we’ve been learning  to give ourselves and others? How do we find the balance between grace and discipline?

Why it’s okay to sometimes match energy [12:47]

  • Boundary is okay—you owe it to yourself to protect your peace and joy

  • What you want and need is as important as what others want and need

  • To match someone’s energy is not always negative, it could also be in your best interest

  • More than anyone, you need to be graceful with yourself

  • The need to pause and find gratitude

The haze of both sides [31:19]

  • Our inability to give grace to others but not to ourselves

  • Acting according to what you believe or who you want to be

  • Understanding that the energy you put out has to do with what you feel vs. what others feel

  • Making a choice to show up despite the circumstances

Navigating through the haze [33:35]
