LISTEN:
One way or another, we must have been in a situation that triggered us to ask ourselves, “Why does it happen so easily for others and not for me? WHY CAN’T IT BE ME?”

EPISODE QUOTES:
Even though you know you're going to have a certain journey, it doesn't necessarily mean that it will be easy as you're going through it.
- Shaté Hayes
She says “I wanted to find the right relationship to hope.” And so to me, my interpretation of that is like the idea that I can still hope or believe or have the faith the size of a mustard seed that it could turn out the way that I really would love for it to turn out. And if not, like I'll be okay.
- Shaté Hayes
And for me, if it is just about love, and just about getting to the place to where I'm able to freely give my love, whether it's to God, to the people that I care about, people that care about me and not want something from it, other than me being my authentic self and knowing that I am still cultivating enough in myself to be able to give and not need to get it back to store it up for myself. If my love can do that, then I'll be alright.
